Pig Conference 2024

The agri benchmark Conference 2024 was proudly hosted by Atria, in the picturesque city of Seinäjöki, Finland.

For the first time in our history, we held the Beef, Sheep, Pig and Poultry together in one place and in a row of one entire week. The Global Forum was the interface between the Beef / Sheep and the Pig / Poultry part.

The programme comprised:

• International Farm comparisons (benchmarking)
• Country presentations
• Industry presentations
• Latest developments and future outlook of global and country-specific pig production
• Results from common work on animal welfare, feed costs and nutritional aspects
  

• With an audience of 250 and a progamme covering all aspects of global and Finnish meat production, the Global Forum was the highlight of the Conference A Global Forum LINK

• A field trip to pig and poultry farms and the visit of Atria's brand-new poultry slaughtering and processing plant
• Social events like visiting a distillery as well as BBQs and sauna events

A summary report will be published in the 4th (fourth) quarter of the year.
