The agri benchmark Beef and Sheep Conference 2022 takes place as a personal meeting in the agri benchmark Headquarters in Braunschweig, Germany.
After two years of Online Conferences the Network decided to go for a personal meeting again. provided that the Covid-19 situation allows it. At the same time, the advantages of online activities shall be kept, for example inviting high-level speakers on the screen.
The conference will be held from 16.-21.06 and comprises the following elements:
16.06. Sheep day – Global overview and latest developments in world sheep markets, country presentations, international comparison, group work on benchmarking results
17.06. Global Forum – Competitiveness of German beef and sheep production, greenhouse gas situation and mitigation potentials, celebration of 20 years in the Network
18.-19.06. Beef days - Global overview and latest developments in world beef markets, country presentations, latest developments, int'l comparison, group work, workshops, national networks
20.-21.06. Field trip to East Germany to see cow-calf, beef finishing and sheep farms
A summary report will be published in the third quarter of 2022 and several other results will be published separately and in different formats.
