Students

For students, we offer an opportunity to write an undergraduate, master‘s or PhD thesis. Students are welcome from all universities and colleges in Germany and from abroad. Theses can be written in German or in English.

We provide solid supervision plus office space, if one prefers to write his/her thesis at the Thünen Institute. In special cases travel funding is available.

Theses should refer to one of the product branches and should provide a contribution to the further development of the Networks (for example content, method, theory, or modelling).

The Thünen Institute announces a four-year fixed-term vacancy as a Research Assistant for the research project "International Comparative Analyses on Greenhouse Gas Mitigation in Livestock Farming". The position includes the possibility to work on a PhD thesis.

The person is supposed to work closely with the Beef and Sheep branch of agri benchmark.
