International competitiveness

International cost comparisons and the question of own competitiveness move many farmers. We try to give some insights with a comparison between our 12 typical farms in 9 countries. The farm comparison focuses on the different tillage systems for wheat and corn.

Change of costs

You are invited to simulate the effects of different cost changes (fuel and labour) and its consequences on the competitiveness of the different locations and tillage systems.

Change of exchange rates

Another question is the effect of varying exchange rates on the economics of tillage systems. Which effect does the continous revaluation of the euro compared to the us-dollar cause? Which effect does it have on our farms in the different countries?
