Beef Conference 2007
The Beef Conference 2007 was successfully held from June 19 to June 21, 2007 on FAL-premises in Braunschweig with a pre-Conference Training (June 16-17) and a pre-conference tour (June 18). Higlights of this year's Conference were:
- International comparisons for 2006, the year in which many framework conditions have changed
- New country presentations
- Farm stories providing an inside view in the functionality of beef and cow-calf-farms
- An excursion to a meat processor and to an organic farm
- Workshops about the future organisation of beef farms
- Trade profiles for selected countries
- A high level manager from McDonald's speaking about their Beef Supply Chain
- Barbecue with beef and wine tasting
- Training and pre-conference tour
