Since 2002 there were six Beef Conferences (2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007 and 2008). Here you find information about the Beef Conferences starting with 2006.
During the Beef Conferences, results of our benchmark activities are discussed, specific topics are addressed in plenary sessions or workshops, and the next steps in the Network are discussed and decided commonly by the partners.
Further, the programme is complemented by pre-conference trainings, excursions to farms and agribusiness companies, invited speaker presentations as well as pre- or post-conference tours providing a good mixture of agribusiness and cultural sightseeing.
Finally, we take care of our guests by providing the catering for the whole time of the Conference. In this context, it is already a tradition to reserve one evening for a South American style barbecue, certainly a non-working highlight of the Conferences.
