Apart from the standard analysis of production systems and their economics for a growing number of countries, the following additional activities are foreseen for 2010:
a) Intensify the analysis of emissions that was started in 2008 by improving data for feed production and transport and including the sequestration of carbon in grassland.
b) Extend and strengthen the combined analysis of cow-calf and beef finishing enterprises to cover the whole cycle from birth to slaughter.
c) Indexing of our annual results with key input price developments to achieve a more frequent update of the Result Data Bases (selected countries in 2010).
d) Start of a sheep network for the analysis of lamb and sheep production in a number of countries.
Moreover, we encourage further countries, institutions and companies to become partners of agri benchmark. We provide high value output for low input.
