For the years 2008 and 2009, we envisage to complement our quantitative analysis of typical farms as follows:
a) intensify the analysis of emissions that was started in 2008 by improving data for feed production and transport and including the sequestration of carbon in grassland.
b) the combined analysis of cow-calf and beef finishing analysis to cover the whole cycle from birth to slaughter.
c) a price data base on our website with free access, showing time series of key beef and livestock prices.
d) from typical farms into the supply chain of beef. Comprehensive projects of supply chain analysis are undertaken in Indonesia and the southern part of Africa.
Moreover, we encourage further countries, institutions and companies to become partners of agri benchmark. We provide high value output for low input.
