Annual activities
The agri benchmark Beef and Sheep and Cash Crop Networks, as well as the European Dairy Farmers, run their activities on an annual basis.
agri benchmark is a working network where participants jointly work towards a common result on an annual basis – usually the Beef and Sheep Conference, the Beef and Sheep Report and additional information and data available in the partner section of our website. We make sure that results are comparable between countries by applying harmonised methods and approaches for collection, processing and dissemination of data and results.
The activities of the agri benchmark Beef and Sheep and Cash Crop Networks are listed below and shown in the chart. We work to:
- Create a harmonised database of typical farms
- Analyse the farms using harmonised methods
- Provide up-to-date sector information
- Validate results at the Conferences
- Publish the results in the annual Reports
- Improve methods continuously
- Exchange ideas on current issues and research projects
Annual working schedule – example Beef and Sheep
New partners are always welcome to join. As a scientific partner, the best point in time to join is between the annual Conference (May/June) and the announcement of the next year’s activities (December). To become a partner, please contact the branch coordinators.
